RUNNING WITH A RESCUED SLOTH

Bailout of a three toed sloth (bradypus variegatus)

on a high traffic street in Costa Rica

SLOTHS ON ROADS ARE TYPICALLY FOR THAT AREA!

Carrying them away will safe their life and avoids traffic accidents!

My girlfriend Gaby rescued the life of a sloth

on the road from Bribrí to Puerto Viejo

( 9 38 15.80N  82 48 31.90W )

and brought it to the sloth sanctuary

at the route 36 from Cahuita to Puerto Limón.

We  gave him the Name: ALBERTO

Alberto was healthy and got a new home

in the sloth sanctuary for a while...

...several months later

our friends - living here in Costa Rica - found

a baby sloth with its mother lying on the street.

They have had a cruel traffic accident

and the baby sloth was already died

but the mother held it tight in her arms.

On the way to the sloth sanctuary

the mother sloth also died...
